One-way live audio
Push-to-Talk sends audio from the main phone to the camera phone. The microphone is used while the user holds the button. Ambient sound from the camera phone is not returned: this is not a two-way call.
Requirements
Both devices need secure pairing, internet and the required entitlement. The main phone needs microphone permission, and the camera phone needs a ready live connection.
Is audio stored?
Live Push-to-Talk audio is not saved as a file or queued for later delivery when disconnected. Check connection status to confirm that the link is available.

Does Live View transmit sound from the remote room?
No. Live View opens camera video. Push-to-Talk sends one-way audio from the main phone to the camera phone; ambient sound from the camera phone is not sent back.
