Which recordings are backed up?
The integration can upload GPS recordings, camera videos and accident-lock copies. GPS KML uploads have a separate setting. Files are organised in the corresponding goGPS folders in your account.
Upload control
Enable Drive in Settings and choose an upload interval. Sync now attempts pending uploads. Speed depends on connectivity, file size, account authorisation and available Drive storage.
Separate retention periods
Regular camera videos and accident-lock copies have separate Drive retention settings. Local files and Drive copies also follow separate rules. Check the relevant settings for files you want to keep.
When you disable the connection
Disabling the integration stops automatic uploads while the account may remain linked. Disconnecting the account does not delete existing Drive files. Offline recording remains possible; verify a backup after its upload finishes.
How to get started
- Enable Google Drive integration in Settings and connect your account.
- Choose GPS uploads, upload interval and retention periods.
- Create a test recording and check the resulting Drive file.
